CEO Dawn McCormick started Deja Vu Recycling, LLC as a personal mission to become more aware of how recyclable items are disposed. It began by saving one aluminum can at a time and she quickly discovered many people shared the passion for making a difference. McCormick stated, "We offer private residents and businesses a way to "go green" hassle-free by offering curbside recycling pickup service for plastic, aluminum, cardboard, and newspaper. Our commitment to the environment also includes free community recycling drop off stations such as the monthly Arts Market in Palmer Park.
Enjoy the ultimate cultural experience under a canopy of oak trees at the Arts Market of New Orleans. Saturday, April 24th, 10 am to 4 pm in Palmer Park- located at the corner of South Claiborne and South Carrollton Avenues- the final stop of the historic St. Charles streetcar.
